This wasn't needed.

Let the NtY/Operation Red Dog folks have their fun.

Our tards are no better than their tards.

I agree it's not illeagal but that Tom guy has way too much access to Bama players. It's a perception and image thing for the university to deal with and I am of the opinion that he should either be made to go away or fall up some stairs. No one should be that close to the players and spare me the "he gets all this game worn stuff from fans at aday". That hog wash stinks as bad as the cammy cam crap did.

I care because perception is reality. The University needs to make this stop.

It is a black eye on the U and if anyone can tie money back to players being paid to sign then we are fixing to get the hammer. Looking down the barrel of a gun I tell you

Bama is the golden boy right now. The NCAA will do nothing.

The entire article is one big deflection. How many of the examples he gives from other teams were game worn items? How many are being sold by a disassociated highly visible local?

I didn't give a second thought to the autograph issue a couple of years ago. This time its just too much. I don't see how anyone can apply common sense to this and not see a big problem on the horizon. Sorry, Drake and the rest are not giving their signed game stuff away for nothing.

Only question is, how/when will the NCAA intervene.

This is the same mantra spatted out before our first major investigation in the early ninties and every other one since and in every single case, Bama was found guilty and hammered. Not saying it will be the case now but I will never, ever feel that way again.

Let's be honest. Back during the 90s and early 00s when we were hit with sanctions, the ncaa had some teeth. Oregon and Miami proved the ncaa is a shell of what it once was.

I really dislike Tom Albetar. He is a slimy guy. I lived at the Midtown Village condos while I was a student. Mark Barron lived directly beneath me and Dre Kirk lived on the first floor of my building. When I got home following our 2011 loss to LSU, I personally witnessed Tom dropping of Dre Kirk's family outside of Dre's condo. I wish someone would take this guy out before he gets us in some trouble.

I think it's kind of creepy his fascination and exploitation of these young men. He needs to get other hobbies.

Outside of the Dee Hart jersey, most of his current player game stuff isn't signed. In fact, just based on the pictures he has posted I see no way to verify if it really is theirs.

No not in the least.

Honestly, its as entertaining from my viewpoint - watching the Rantards and Barners trip over themselves in fantasy as it is from their perspective - actually believing something will come of this.

I would really care if our football players (without their knowledge, of course) were helping to raise money to buy bombs and bullets to kill and commit other terrorist acts.
