Yeah he is a stud. Gonna be fun to watch the two play over the next few years.

I'd take LF over the lot of them in a heartbeat.

But I'd still take the Roc.

Roc is already over 200lbs and isn't much taller than Tre. It might be good for him to gain 5-10lbs of good weight but he could play at his current size now.

The class of RBs coming into the SEC next year is a pretty unbelievable group. Fournette, Chubb, Michel, Thomas, and Hurd could all be studs.

If roc stays healthy, he'll be an absolute monster in malzahns offense. Injuries were a problem for him this year, but he was literally his entire teams offense getting 30+ carries a night.

It's going to be fun to look back in 4 years and see who turned out to be the best.

Let's let them play a down of college ball first.

I just noticed that write up on Mason linked. Pretty spot on:

quote:

On the Hoof: Solidly built with the frame to add more weight. He definitely looks like a back that can carry the ball 20 times in a game.

quote:

But his forte is that one cut to make the initial tackler miss and cutting it back across the grain for big yardage.

quote:

Conclusion: Look for him to outperform more highly recruited backs

K, but we can look at how they've done against the best players in the country of equal age:

Roc Thomas- 7 carries 3 yards, 0 catches

Leonard- 9 carries 45 yards, 2 catches 46 yards 1 TD

You take Roc, I'll keep Leonard

The only thing LF has on Roc at this point is his size. Main reason LF is rayed ahead of him. Roc will be a very, very good one. And it wouldn't surprise me at all if he has a better career than LF.

The best back out of this class will be Jeff Jones imho, I know he is going to Minnesota which is outside of the SEC empire but I think he will be the best after it is all said and done.

The only thing my arse.

He isn't as fast, big, or strong as Leonard, Leonard is a better pass catching back, I don't think I need to say anything about his cutting ability.. To say that his size is the only thing is total hogwash hating.
