I have a nephew who is a classmate of his. For 2 years this kid went to Bama repeatedly for unofficial visits and was a big Bama fan according to many people.

Now my brother says that the word around Oxford is thay Roc didn't like being second chose to LF so he commits to Auburn out of spite and no one really expects him to flip.

So, does Roc follow his life long dream and swallow his pride and sign with Bama, or sign with Auburn to try to make Saban realize he made a mistake by not taking his commitment when Roc was ready to commit?

He's been committed to Auburn for months now. I don't expect him to flip. He would be featured in either offense and would get earlier playing time at Auburn.

The state of Alabama has two very good RBs for 2015. One of which is already committed to Alabama, Desherrius Flowers of Mobile.

I dont think he does either, but it wouldn't shock me if he did.

I just hate to see his own pride and ego get in the way of him going to the school he wanted to go to since he was in 9th grade.

I think Roc stays with Auburn too. Just hate that he would let his hurt ego keeo him from fulfilling his dream.

He probably has a better shot at fulfilling his dream at Auburn.

Don't think these are the same

I would fault Alabama's staff's "pride and ego" in this situation, not Roc's

Honest question for the Bama fans, why bother even taking a running back this class? You guys signed 4 last year and don't have room for them so why bother going after one this year at all?

And I don't think Roc is going anywhere but Auburn at this point, he might have been an Alabama fan a few years ago but he loves Auburn now.

We definitely don't need a RB this class. But keeping the great instate guys with us would be great.

It's always good to have a RB in every class. You never know who will bust or declare early or transfer or get injured. With Bo looking like he'll have to go the JUCO route (rumor at this point) and Kamara transferring, Bama's staff is probably erring on the side of caution. Better to have too many than not enough.

Roc himself has said he has never really been a fan of any school. And this op sounds like a lot of speculation or trolling. And coming from you, I'd say trolling.

Doubt it. Kid wants to play right away ...depth at Bama would be too much to overcome.

He made the right decision in my book based on his desire to play

I'm just going with what his classmate said about Roc. It was common knowledge around Oxford that he was a Bama fan. But he is a proud kid. I wish we would of locked him up when he was going to every Bama home game. He is a great player. How is that trolling?

Tre Mason leaving early for the NFL was the final nail in the coffin for Bama. He's a Tiger.

Unfortunately I agree. We don't need him but we could have kept him from you guys. He's gonna have it in for Bama too, because he was always Sabans second choice.
