Gauldens senior highlights released
Video is nasty from start to finish, 2:30 - 2:40 being particularly savage.

Some great options at S in this class:

Todd Kelly Jr - 96 - 4*
Cortez McDowell - 92 - 4*
RaShaan Gaulden - 87 - 3*

Possibly could add Evan and/or Elliot Berry to that list.

IMO He looks better then McDowell, hands down. But because he doesn't have the prototypical weight his rating was never as high as his potential is. You can tell he's a little smaller but he hits like a damn bull. Half that video is of him lighting up RBs twice his size, and stopping them dead in their tracks. For me, him and TK are immediate upgrades in the 2-deep, even being freshmen.

He might be one of the most under rated prospects in this class. I'm stoked to see what all of these guys can do, but Gaulden is one I will probably keep a little more of an eye on.

Thoughts on the S prospects for 14?

ETA: Damn this board is dead

Yeah it is really dead.. safety should be a position of streng next year with the incoming talent and what we have already.

Gonna have to find a way to get all these athletes on the field. I wonder how many will switch positions?

Because all UT threads are started on the recruiting board. It's about the only positive thing we've had in a few years.

I would help with the liveliness if this board but when it comes to highlight videos and shite like that I just don't have time to watch/keep up with them. Keep in mine I still have a VERY strong memory of years when we brought in "top" recruiting classes and it never showed on the field.

I follow recruiting but I do not care enough about it to know info about most individual recruits. These guys are all gonna be freshmen and that's all I will treat them as til they show us something on the field.

Not trying to take anything away from them or those who build them up I have just been hyped up for good classes to many times before (anybody remember how Nathan Petermen was the savior?)

And FTR I hate how dead this board usually is and have tried to think of ways to generate conversation, but with the exception of a couple of occasions I have failed

Same here. I know who we get and who we might get, but don't know much about them other than ratings and what I read from here and other boards quickly.

I love that we have loaded up on DB's this class. It's good to see a position of weakness getting addressed. What is the likelihood we also get Adoree Jackson?

DB class looks better then it has in a few classes. Butch is doing a good job of solidifying every position this class. He did a great job with the back 7 this year
