He stepped down as DB coach. I guess everyone just assumed he was out of the program completely.

Pretty sure only onfield coaches can recruit off campus, fwiw... May be some technicality on when Steele starts his new job.

IF they are just switching jobs, Brown is likely considered still a coach. Would make sense to switch after signing day.
