Except for Cade's misses, the ST have been vastly improved over the last few years. Kick offs and returns have been way better and Cody Mandel evolved into one of the best punters in the nation.

Isn't it Williams' job to recruit kickers and punters? I mean, kicking probably cost UA a CC in 2011 and 2013.

I'm buying into the 'sign'.
If you do the same thing over and over again, you'll get the same results.
I think Saban is a smart enough coach, like Bear, in that he knows that change is something that should be utilized and not reacting to change is detrimental to success.

There's no probably about it. Kicking, specifically Cade Foster's kicking, has cost Alabama two undefeated regular seasons, one certain conference title (2011) and almost certainly a second.
Since 2011, Alabama's had 6 games where they lost the game or won it by a touchdown or less. Field goals were attempted in four of them:
2011 LSU, Foster 1-4 (Shelley 1-2)
2012 UGA, Foster 0-1 (Shelley 1-1)
2013 AU, Foster 0-3 (Griffin 0-1)
2014 OU, Foster 1-2
For his career he was 2-10 (20%) in games where the kicks meant something. In games where it didn't matter, he was 23-34 (68%).
The only thing more certain than the sun rising in the east was Cade Foster missing a kick that really mattered.
