Like a rat off of a sinking ship. Since he is a walk-on, can he play immediately elsewhere?

I guess he doesn't like riding the bench and getting a ring. Kudos to him.

Scholarship quarterbacks include Sims, Alec Morris, Cooper Bateman, Parker McLeod and incoming freshman David Cornwell.

Any ideas on the front runner, or is it wide open?

don't think so... the QB from Texas Tech is in a similar situation (TF walk on) and i'm pretty sure he has to sit out a year and is being restricted on where he can enroll.

Wide open, but I've heard some buzz on McLeod. Probably won't be determined until this summer.

none of those guys have finished a class at bama yet, right?

seems like del rio would've had the inside track, seeing as he's been on campus for a year.
