OK, since this is an LSU site, out of respect we can start with LSU.
What are the teams precieved strengths and weaknesses going into the 2014 season?
How many returning Starters?
Offense:
Defense:
How many from the 2 deep or those who've contributed enough to count?
O:
D:
I know they will be breaking in a new QB, lost their #1 tailback and their 2 WR that made the offense click. I'd estimated that 85% of their offense production is gone.
Have 2 senior RBs with Maggee and Hillard but after them ? They Will have the #1 RB recruit in LF coming in but better hope he produces like they hope as the other 2 haven't shown anything than average SEC.
I think the OLine was fairly young this year and returns most everyone? Correct? That could be a saving grace, if not then it will be ugly on offense with all the new faces.
Defense: if I remember correctly they should be better than this past year due to more experienced players returning. What's the feel for the defense, tiger fans? Will it get back to top 3 in the SEC? Can it be good enough to win the games while the offense finds itself early in the season?
What's a reasonable prediction? How's the schedule?
I'll guess 3 SEC L's :Bama , @Au and 1 of @(UF,TAMU, Ark).
Next up TAMU: JFF gone:

Interesting that you predict three L's with one coming against your team (shocking) even though you're out QB1, RB1 and pretty much your entire defensive backfield and one coming against an aTm team that couldn't figure out how to beat us with JM/ a dumpster fire UF team/ Arkansas.
Hm.

Let's talk about momentum going into the season. LSU won their final two games including a bowl win. Other teams can't say the same unfortunately.
But seriously, next year will be this year except we lose most of our offense instead of defense. It's all about QB play. We've had great seasons with crap offenses before. Fournette has the keys to the offense. Magee is very underrated.
On defense DT is the position of worry but could surprise depending on how some young guys step up. We'll be strong everywhere else especially in the secondary.
2-3 losses is a fair guess.

LSU finished third in the SEC this year in total defense

I would guess maybe 4 losses, Ole Miss seems to have their number.

All 3 of those teams lost to LSU last year and you're going to leave out Ole Miss team that beat them? Do better.

I'm predicting a really good team with a terrible passing attack. 2-3 losses then we are loaded in 2015 and make a title run
ETA: I predict Jennings starts the season and struggles, then Brandon Harris becomes the man and has some growing pains but shows way more upside

we beat them 3 times in a row before this year. and they won by 3.
Auburn has your number so i guess you'll never beat them.

What RB1 did Alabama lose? Either way LSU lost their QB as well, and their top RB and top two receivers so I don't know why you find it so odd he thinks Alabama will beat you. Alabama was 21 points better last year, not sure what gives you hope LSU is closing that gap.

I agree that this year will be much like last year except for swapping offense and defense. Unlike most years the first 4 games could make or break the season. Starting off against a quality opponent like Wisconsin could be a great confidence builder for the young QB or a disasterous start. Then in week four an undefeated Miss state team will come to Baton Rouge. Probably ranked in the top 20 with a heisman canidate QB. I think Prescott has a huge year. Dan Mullins will Tebow the offense for him. Dak was recruited by LSU but it was very late. I think he gets revenge in tiger stadium.
I know it sounds nuts, it's Miss st. But I think they turn things around next year.

Every 4 years is the pattern. I wonder what the tale will be in 2015. There is controversy regarding LSU's 3 BCSNCG seasons.
