That was centuries ago in recruiting time. Mack is as wishy washy as they come. He just decommitted from A&M because one player decided he was going to Texas instead. Mack is going to be a bust at Texas now instead of A&M.

Ok....did I miss something else because its hard to see Mack's decommitment causing a melt this size.

They were in semi-melt mode since they haven't hired a DC yet (some of y'all know what that feels like

Then, Two guys were announcing today. 5* LB Malik Jefferson and some other guy that I don't really know who he is. Apparently both were supposed to pick A&M.
First, the unknown dude picks Texas which started the melt. Then Jefferson picks Texas which enhances the melt. Then Mack decommits because he wants to play with Jefferson. Then Kyler Murray (their next QB phenom according to them) starts tweeting a bunch of pro-Oregon stuff. Which could also mean Christian Kirk opens up his recruitment if Murray flips.
It's been pretty funny over there. One A&M poster was thinking about posting Katrina jokes on the Rant because of all this and LSU fans coming in to laugh at them

I remember when Texas used to rape on the recruiting trail. They would have damn near their entire class filled out before the season even started, and they were all top notch players.
Charlie Strong might be leading them back to that.

That was more Sumlin fricking up than Strong.
Also Mack had junior day and basically if you didn't commit you missed the train.good old commit or die philosophy.
