Marshall really has only had 1.5 years of "quality" QB instruction since the only other QB coaching outside small town GA is a year of JUCO and played DB at UGA.
I think he is way too far behind in his QB development to have a shot at the NFL but if he had the fortune of working on mechanics/footwork for a couple years he could work. The biggest wildcard is his ability ot read a defense which he hasn't had a lot of instruction or been asked to do it.
ETA: He probably would be better than Cutler and whoever else may start for Chicago

It's just talk, but apparently Duke Williams is waiting to see if he was able to pass his classes. If he did, it's looking good on him being at Auburn again next year. If not, he's off to the NFL.

I just don't know why he doesn't know his grades yet... They should already be posted for all students.

I believe he is in negotiations with the school. His grades will depend on how those turn out.

And just to chime in on Nick; The Iron Bowl was about the only game in which he had Sammie and Duke healthy.

Duke Williams has not submitted paper to the NFL Draft Advisory Board, and he also hasn't practiced this week due to injury and "sickness"...

I was actually reading that earlier for kicks. I'm not saying we'd be much better on melting, but they need to get a grip. A&M is sitting on a #4 recruiting class. They'll be fine. I am interested to see who their DC will be.

Is Daylon Mack in play at all for us? I know he was linked a bit with AU early and Florida, Texas, and LSU some as of late. Any chance Muschamp landing here gets us back on his radar?
