I like that idea too. Our pass rush could do a complete 180 with Lewis and Lawson

IMO, our pass rush will do a 180 regardless with Lawson. (Plus Thornton and bigger Kennion) But getting those guys would be some insurance that it improves.

Those three guys have to stay healthy... all three have had injuries in their young careers. we need speed on defense in the worst way... but really we need the guys already on the roster to play and live up to the hype.

Thornton is a RS, not because of injury. He got appendicitis this Summer, but would have RS anyway. He is my pick, among guys we have, to be our other edge rusher.

He may have a higher ceiling than Kennion but both of them have the lengthy frame to be like Dion Jordan in college. Betweenthe two of them we should walk away with at least one top tier pass rusher

We need both Thornton and Kennion to do what it takes to get bigger. They both need to be 245+ and maintain speed which isn't necessarily the easiest thing to do

These positive, hopeful outlooks must stop.

Bro Jackson, I negabarn hard but only things worth negabarning over.

Such as

-Wide Receivers next year if we lose Duke (or keep brick hands Coates "BHC")

-HBack and how somehow we can regress from block no one Fulse/CJ

-Cornerback being a clusterfrick

-Defensive Tackle depth being awful

-Defense ingeneral

I don't negabarn over things that should be strengths like DE if healthy, OL, QB, RB, 4th quarter comeback ability

Kennion and Thornton both suck. They've put on all the weight they can. Lawson is going to suck when he gets back. Won't be the same after his injury. We'll never have a decent pass rush as long as Ellis Johnson or Gus Malzahn are still here.

Yep. JT got here much further along in development. He just needs to add weight. RK was forced to play as we had no pass rush. We just need one of the two ready by next year at a minimum. Plus we need to add one more that is ready when he gets here. (i.e. Lewis)

I imagine one of the two will be at a place where they can at worst hold their own on 3rd down passing situations. Lambert + Lawson will be good on 1st and 2nd down

I think sometimes it is necessary. My wife actually asked me last Friday, "Why have you been drinking so much lately?" Actually happened.

I stopped drinking and have not had any since. I am usually a very casual drinker. I dont know why but that TAM game killed me. The USCe game got me started and the TAM game finished me off.

I was numb in Athens when UGA spanked us. I did not even care when we quit.

When we started the Samford game off with a penalty, I pretty much broke down

Finished me off. Im done now and ready for this weekned.
