I mean with the staff Saban's putting together and the recruiting classes of years past and this years.

Will this put just as much pressure on the staff and players to win as there was in 2013 trying to 3 Peat?

Just look what it did to the Lakers and the Heat to win after those "dream teams" were put together. It also took a while for the teams to gel.

I'm all for this whole change up in the staff and think it was much needed. I just hope Saban can "make it work."

Bama could go on one of the best runs ever with this staff and with the recruiting that has been done.

New hires besides Kiffin?

Kiffin was fired from 2 out his last three jobs.

I don't think too much pressure was the problem, entitlement or being content maybe.

No what we've seen is just that you're naturally going to have down years in "amateur" athletics even at the level we recruit. I wouldn't be surprised if we have another one next year with all of our losses on defense. Sometimes your experience and talent just don't peak in the same year.

I fully expect us to go in dry in '15 though. Assuming we get Coker and he stays for two years we'll return an absurd amount of talent along with experience.

i don't know if it is possible to have too much talent, but, it is very possible to have too much ego on one team/staff

Talent as the problem?

It's called complacency. Entitlement also fits the bill.

Yes. Washington Bullets back when. Plenty of stars, one ball.

Too much talent? Nah, not imo. I think the players watched to much espn and believed all the noise about being a NFL team and also I believe they lost that edge a little after winning back to back championships.
