How many starters are returning for your team and who are you most excited about seeing back for another year this year? And who do you fear most in the SEC?

You act like anyone but an LSU fan (OK...maybe State) would know these answers off hand.

Not sure about specific numbers, but Alabama is returning a lot of guys this year. I like Mikey White a lot. He had a solid freshman year, especially in the later part of the season. I think Alabama could be pretty good this year. Definitely should be a tournament team

Arkansas, South Carolina, and Ole miss.

Why don't you just go back to the fairy board and talk about kickball with the other poors?

I like college baseball and I do follow it. Once the season starts. I think the idea people have on this board that SEC fans as a whole know a damn thing about their college baseball team (especially in Jan) is laughable, though.

LSU returns two All Americans, so we've got that going for us, which is nice.

Na Kenny Roberts graduated...he was a pretty average hitter, only hit .236 in conference play.

You may think higher of him though because he did have a game tying homer against lsu in the 9th last year.

We shoud have a pretty good club this season. The guys last year were scrappy but they were young. Our pitching staff should be a lot better. Bama should make a super regional at the least imo

ETA: I can't wait for baseball season. Going to try to make a few weekend series in tuscaloosa this year. I'd love to make a game at the Box too, i'm closer to BR than T-town

We lost Renfroe, Frazier and both catchers. Catchers are being replaced by a 3 man competition and will be better there. Impossible to replace a Renfroe and a Frazier but we will be OK. Should be better at 3rd. Most excited about? A healthy Brandon Woodruff.

our schedule is pretty brutal

@lsu series
@SC series
@ ULaLa series
@ arkansas series

We get state and florida at home and miss vandy. Still think we need to make it to the supers at minimum this year

Just because you don't know, doesn't mean others don't. What if I told you not everyone has the same interests than you?

If you don't like the thread, don't post in it. Don't douche the shite up.

Anyone know the story as to why Keaton Haack, pitcher, left the Bama team?

Naw. I live in a city that has a large contingent of just about every SEC fan base. I've tried talking college baseball before and people look at you like you have three heads. This includes USCe and LSU fans, BTW. Of course, this is a message board and the fact that someone is here shows they're at least a little more dedicated. But I still think most LSU fans on this board are delusional when it comes to baseball's overall popularity in the SEC.

Is Arkansas gonna have anyone who can hit a ball this year? Besides maybe spoon and Anderson?

Serrano is solid. We're bringing in Andrew Benintendi, who holds the state of Ohio all-time hits record. And Blake Baxendale had to redshirt his freshman season last year because of TJ surgery, he's supposed to be a really good power hitter.

We'll see.
