You remember him from this classic.
He seemed skeptical three days ago when proclaiming that Lane Kiffin was the last thing he wanted in his life.
Now he's "fricking speechless".
to you, BVD!

The Kiffin hire is worth just to see the mushroom cloud explosion of butthurt coming from Knoxville.

Would that be considered a meltdown?

Nick Saban must have hired Lane Kiffin just to piss him off.

BVD says he's from Greene Co. in that first vid. Since your new coach's son is named Knox, it shouldn't be terribly hard for even you to remember that Knoxville is in Knox Co.
Anyhoo... Knoxville is still laughing at you for hiring him.

I say this in all seriousness: I don't know what the hell Saban is thinking with this one. Kiffin interviews well or wouldn't keep landing jobs but if he sticks around long enough he'll turn everything he touches into shite. As lucky as Lane is to constantly fail into a better job than he deserves, he brings bad luck to everyone around him.
Part of me thinks this is all about the TV money and press the buildup to TSiO will bring with Kiffin the most hated coach in CFB returning to Neyland. Kiffin makes a great fall guy for a rebuild while boosting a rivalry Bama and Tennessee both want to keep.
Bill Battle (a former UT coach who beat Bear and who also happened to have played for Bear Bryant at Bama) becoming AD at Bama is not blind to this nor is UT's AD who was previously a Bama assistant AD. (Yes, UT and BAMA programs have always been as inbred as hell -- that's one of the reasons we're rivals).

I say this in as many Muffin threads as possible, since Muffin was invited to start "consulting" on the Bama offense, THAY ARE WINLESS!

Watching the Trojan Horse you invited in do his job on you will be far more glorious.

Ah yes, there's the Sugar Bowl reference again.
Anyone with more brain cells than a turnip can figure out that Lane Kiffin didn't spend any time trying to help the guy he wanted to replace try to win a ball game and stay in the job that Kiffin wanted.

The entertainment value from the UT fans is priceless.

Yeah, lot's of attempted face-saving by the Vol fans ITT. Every one of them would say privately among themselves that if Kiffin was still there they would be kicking arse and winning championships. I've been hearing it from them for four years.

This IMO serves as paybackfor what Fulmer did to Alabama.
Tommy Gallion ran him out of Alabama for SEC Media Days and should have served that subpoena on the 50 yard line of BDS.
