Should football do away with divisions

and allow top two teams to play each other.
With advent of new playoff, if two west teams are most deserving than let them play in SEC title game.

yes, playing a conference title game becomes a liability in the new format. if they are keeping the championship games they should create 4 majors & take their champs instead of this committee horseshite. if they ditch the champ games they should increase the field to 8

With 12 or more team conferences, you really need to have divisions.
People just need to understand that just like pro sports have divisions and division champions, there are still wildcard spots because sometimes there are two awesome teams in the same division, etc.

Because you can have the 3 best teams in the conference in the same division. Then the #1 has to play the #3 or #4 team in a championship game that doesn't include one of the top two teams. The #4 SEC team can win the conference when they had no business being in the game. We never should have expanded from 10 team conferences. Just play everyone in conference and whoever has the best record is your conference champ.
