Terrell Davis. Most of you are probably to young remember him in his prime.
ETA: damnit. The older I get the more my alzheimer's shows through.

Saw some sports media guys on Twitter today comparing him to Emmett Smith.
Pretty good comparison, actually. Not tall. Not a breakaway speedster.
But low center of gravity. Strong as hell. Good moves inside the tackles. Ability to break tackles. Can make people miss in the open field.

Curtis Martin or Brian Westbrook

ETA: I agree with the Emmitt Smith comparison. Tre's legs aren't quite as thick, but I still think he's built for longevity.

Curtis Martin is a good comparison.

MJD or Ray Rice would be a good comparison. Low center of gravity not a speedster but smart and patient runner

I loved Curtis Martin, dude was good. That's a good comparison.

Pretty lofty expectations with hall of famers like Curtis Martin and emit smith.
MJD would be awesome if he ended up with a career like him and I think it is doable for sure

I really can't think of a good comparison... there are no real holes in tres game, but at the same time he really doesn't excel at anything... good --not great-- size, speed, quickness, strength, pass catching, etc. he's a little bit of everything.
He also doesn't have an injury history... we asked him to carry he load the second half of his season and he answered the bell every time.

I wouldn't say he doesn't excel at anything. He has top notch vision and balance and never goes down when you expect him to. Frank Gore/Mark Ingram except a little quicker.
