@BFeldmanCBS: OC Doug Nussmeier leaves #Bama for #Michigan. Will now be among 5 highest-paid coordinators in CFB, per source. LINK

is it really a decline for bama? with their stable of backs all you have to do is run left run right.

Makes me kinda happy actually, didn't always agree with his philosophy and it appears Saban didn't either. Really don't want Kiffin though.

Hiring Kiffin is a great way to destroy a team

As an objective observer of Bama's offense, the offense under Nuss almost always wanted to put a degree of difficulty on its success. The only time I can remember the offense being tailored specifically to its strengths was the 2nd half of the 2012 SECCG

He was nowhere near as bad of a coach as you guys make him out to be and I honestly don't understand the animosity.

The main thing with him I didn't understand was why Yeldon remained the first string guy at RB all year when Drake and Henry run harder and don't have the fumbling issue.

But people who watch Alabama more than I care to say Henry had issues with pass blocking early in the year, so that would explain that.

I don't like Kiffin as a person and think he's one of the worst human beings in the game of college football. But he knows how to run an offense as an OC and he is a damn fine recruiter.

It was when he was a OC under an actual head coach.

Saban wouldn't be dumb enough to hire a cancer like Kiffin. Not only that, but I don't know where all this "he's a great OC" comes from. If it's based on what he did over 10 years ago with a great talent advantage against PAC 10 defenses, then I'm not buying. He can recruit though.

Nussmeier wasnt bad at all, but sometimes he would get stubborn.

I don't mind the change. Its not hard to produce with the players we have.
