Cock fans don't really have a need to celebrate his departure though, I'm pretty sure he's never seen the field in a cock game, always suspended. To yall, it's like he never existed.

Well, he did cause the Connor Shaw fumble in the 4th quarter of last year's game.

But celebrating a kid's dismissal is pretty low.

Spare us the bullshite piety.

He's not our player and the kid had every opportunity in the world. His decisions are his own.

That was Herrera in the 3rd. Our 1st possession of the 2nd half, we went 8 plays to get inside y'alls 25, and Herrera stripped it. That was the game changing play though. We had fought back from a 17-3 deficit to tie it up at 24 at half time, we forced a punt on y'all's opening 2nd half drive and if we would've scored that drive we woulda/coulda/shoulda had 4 of the last 5 TD's (up to that point) in that game. However it is what it is.

I don't know if anyone's personally gratified that JHC got kicked off uga for drugs, I'm not. What this thread is about is a funny way to point out how many players y'all have arrested/suspended/dismissed during the off season. It happens every year. We did this last year and LOTB did it on y'all's board last year too.

Don't be a bitch and pick and choose what you think is low or not on other teams boards, if you don't like it, just shut the frick up.

I'm pretty sure every UGA fan I knew was wishing Clowney would have gotten in trouble for the agent stuff at the beginning of the season...

While it is true that UGA players can go ham at any given moment, you could kind of see this coming with JHC.

Someone else might be a little less easy to predict.

Not player related, but wow, armed robbery in a dorm?!?! Besides drugs, and an Xbox, what could college students have that would really be worth taking?

JHC liked the THC...never saw that coming, amirite? It's really hard to watch the wasted talent that leaves our team sometimes.

FYI.... I think we are still a few spots over the 85 cap, it's a guarantee 3 guys still have the axe coming for one reason or another by the time Fall semester begins.

....really?!? Not 1 UGA player arrested during Spring Break?!?! I guess Mark Richt has regained control and all is well, no way anyone gets arrested from now to the beginning of the season, IF it didn't already happen on Spring Break.

Well, this blows most predictions out of the water, doesn't it??

quote:

ConwayGamecock's Prediction:
I will say 3 total arrests, 2 suspended/leave the team...so that's a total of 5 infractions, now 4 remaining with today's arrest...

This thread was mostly about suspensions/dismissals, but my prediction is already wiped out by this most recent events, lol...

Four Georgia football players, including promising safety Tray Matthews, have been charged with multiple counts of theft by deception and have bonded out of the Clarke County Jail on Monday night after being booked.

Also charged are defensive linemen Jonathan Taylor and James DeLoach and wide receiver Uriah LeMay.

The thefts involved the University of Georgia athletic department, according to UGA police chief Jimmy Williamson. More details will be available Tuesday.

Matthews, a sophomore from Newnan, is facing at least three misdemeanor counts. Taylor and DeLoach are facing two misdemeanor charges and LeMay four, according to the online arrest log for the jail.

According to University of Georgia Police, three of the players were depositing their regularly-scheduled stipend checks on their mobile phone banking apps, then taking them to a local convenience story for cashing immediately afterward, effective cashing the checks twice. One other player, wide receiver Uriah LeMay, was retrieving a roommate's already-cashed check and and cashing it at a convenience store.

The fraudulent practices were brought to the attention of the police by the UGA Athletic Association, which discovered the through its routine accounting practices.
"Their financial division noticed that these checks were being processed twice," UGA Police Chief Jimmy Williamson said Tuesday morning. "I got contacted by a senior administrator from the athletic association about the matter to file an official report and investigate. It's a fraud and they get audited and they have to guard against fraud. Number two there is a compliance issue because these players are basically being compensated."

hahahah, they've moved on to be white collar criminals!! Hey, it's a step up from the normal thuggery, but they were so stupid about it....
