FSU may have more talent, however I like Auburns chances of winning big because of the following:

AU defense -vs- FSU offense: AU's defense matches up well and AU will pressure JW early and often, FSU will struggle and probably shoot themselves in the foot several times. FSU will score points, but I think FSU puts up less than 30.

FSU- Defense -vs- AU offense: FSU defense has speed but will they be fast enough to correct the mistakes during the fakes? I don't think so and this will be the key to the game. I see Auburn running roughshod over the FSU D and will put up over 40 on FSU.

So my final score prediction will be:

Auburn: 48
FSU: 24

Auburn CAN win, but there's no way it'll be a blow out.

Auburn 38
FSU 31

or

FSU 41
Auburn 10

Not at all. Realistically...FSU can score points,,,but they will not outscore Auburn.
Also keep in mind that FSU's strength of schedule was worse then Blohio States.

Favors AU imo

Favors FSU IMO.

Winston is mobile enough and they are balanced enough to keeo the pass rush at bay. Their offensive line has played a whole lot of games together, it's a talented and cohesive unit. There isn't a receiver that AU can key on and every man-to-man matchup between an eleigible receiver and a defender is going to favor fsu.

FSU utilizes their talented tight end as well as anyone in the country, they just have a lot of weapons but it starts up front.

I think FSU wins on a late FG but they are going to have their hands full with mason and marshall. A penetrating and agressive defense can be your worst enemy against a team like auburn

Auburns "up tempo" offense will wear down the FSU defense and screw up their rotation much like they did versus Bama.

Auburn had a pretty rough time stopping Missouri. I doubt they will stop a FSU team that has even more talent across the board on offense and a deeper, more athletic defense.

yep... and no way we crack the 40s on that defense... too many NFLers.

This isn't Missouri's LBs and safeties...

You think Auburn can be held to 10 points. You may be slow in the head. Either way, it throws your whole post out the window.

I don't think either with stop the other a lot. I think Auburn is more likely to handle FSU's Oline with their bad pass protection than FSU is going to handle Auburn's Oline and Prosch. Especially since Auburn has played better Olines almost weekly. FSU's players aren't used to playing physical teams or late in game so I think FSU will win the first half and Auburn the second. Auburn wins but it won't be big. 38-31 Auburn.

the only 'physical' team they played, BC, had success.... granted, that was much earlier in the year.

By running for over 5+ YPC like they did against the last 2 defenses that were ranked ahead of FSU's.

I'm sure thats what the FSU fans will call it even if Auburn won by 14.

If you take out all the sack yards like FSU fans like to do, they might get half.

UF as bad as their offense is ran for over 3 YPC. Half the SEC teams they played held them to less than that. Vandy held them to just over a yard and Missouri held them to 1.9. Auburn had over 7 YPC against Mizz. I think their numbers of late are more the lack of quality run games than them being that much better.

The 3 hours needs to hurry up.

Burton had one long run on FSU, dislocated his shoulder, and never came back in... they had half their rush yards on that one play.
