You guys didn't want Hootie so mine as-well trash him right? Awesome of OM fans though. Someone OM would have really liked to have along with Jamal/Cj but they showed class and Hootie wasn't the only one that noticed. I would always hope for Bama fans to act this way in regards to recruits. LSU, I'm friends with Landon and some of the things he has told me are pretty terrible.

Got to admit, to anyone on LSU's 247 board. That was THE greatest melt of all time. In all fairness, you landed 2 great players.

The whole decommit mess with Hootie was ploy. Get LSU to bite on Hootie and screw up the progress made on Jamal Adams. LSU didn't bite.

I love the conspiracy theories. Let's rewind to when you were 17/18. Were you ever indecisive? I know there were times I couldn't make my mind up about what I was doing that night, much less where I was going to college. Could it be that Hootie was second guessing his decision? From our side he decommitted on a whim and the next day regretted it and told our coaching staff he was sorry.

Agreed y'all got a good one. I just hate the way conspiracy theorists look for anything other than the obvious. Hootie wasn't some Saban pawn trying to keep y'all from Adams. Hootie was a 17/18 year old kid who couldn't make up his mind.

I think people are upset because of the perception that Hootie tried to trick LSU into backing off Adams. His tweet complaining that LSU hadn't contacted him was very telling.
