yes, he had his 2nd awful All Star game, although, as UGA fans remind us, he's Mr Football in SC...so he has that going for him.

Mostly we just don't give a shite about stats in all-star games

So excited to have Barker. He's an EE so he'll have all spring to learn the playbook.

What do you think most people without a UGA stick up their arse would look to to evaluate a football player? 2 meaningless all star games? Or how about 3+ years of games they play with their own teammates that they get more than one week of practice with.

I'll wait, Cock.

Most think that he will. He'll either be thd starter or redshirt. His talent won't be wasted.

I like the kid. Big, strong, and has a cannon. I hope he can do some damage there but he's going to need some more help.

I don't understand this question.

Meh, you can look at the body of work and the work of a player against their best competition. Park's performance against a bunch of kids in 2 games (many of whom will be playing D1) was awful, it is what it is.

I have a question though. If all these other QB's in the Shrine Bowl and Army All Star game can do a decent job with 1 wk to prepare, why can't Park?

All-star game stats really don't matter.

What I relish in reminding you guys is that you had TWO very good QB prospects within your borders that you had no competition for because Clemson bought their guy very early on and you missed/passed on both. Instead you went out of state after a guy that is no better than either of the instate guys and lost him to a basketball school. So you've ended up empty handed in a class in which you really needed to add a QB, cause you don't have shite on campus behind Dylan.

Were I a UK fan, I'd like to see him redshirt and get another solid recruiting class in there for him to mesh with before putting his talent to work. I like Barker and he is good, but I do think he is a four year guy that isn't that likely to leave early. Would be best to give him all the extra help he can get to maximize his contributions.

Are they really and key guys that he would miss playing with by taking that route?

Behind Thompson we have Brendan Nosovitch and Connor Mitch, both of whom will push Thompson for the starting job.

When you don't have a clue, it's best to just sit on the sidelines.

You really don't have any idea about what you're talking about here.

We have a RS Soph, Nosovitch, Parade All American QB from PA who broke a bunch of Terrell Pryor's HS recrods.

Then we has a RS Fr QB, Mitch, who has MANY of the NC HS QB records including most TD's in a game, most yards in a game, etc.... He has three 600+ passing yard games....

Because he's more raw than some of his peers, which we have said the whole time. Stop being so damn dense. How he did in a couple all-star game has exactly zero bearing on how good he'll be in college.
