Y'know, having facebook friends in the AUMB fricking sucks

AUMB=Auburn Marching Band
Ever since the Iron Bowl from hell, I had to deal with endless videos of the kick 6. Then I had to deal with them posting videos from Atlanta. THEN I had to spend the last month watching them count down the days until they leave for Pasadena. Now they just made it to LA, and are posting constant pictures of Beverly Hills, the Rose Bowl, and Hollywood (with Disneyland tomorrow).
Meanwhile here I am,back in Tuscaloosa and still numb from that shitshow in New Orleans, looking at my facebook like
Thinking that it should be ME in Pasadena! Me dammit me! I've never been to Disneyland! Or California! This was the ONE AND ONLY BCS bowl game I REALLY wanted to go to!
I would've been fine not going to New Orleans, or Miami, if that meant we were going to Pasadena. It's always been a dream of mine, ever since I was little. Now, who knows when it will happen. 
I know I should get over it, but I'm too bitter and petty (plus I'm kinda drunk) anyone else feel my pain.

I remember making fun of my AUMB friends when they went to Arizona in 2010...because the MDB trip to Pasadena was sooooo much better. They got to go to...the zoo

it could be worse... I'd say 90% of my Aubie fb friends competed for auburn in the same sport I did at bama. I get tagged in everything bcs related lol.

I've always wondered why the BCS is in Glendale. There is nothing out there. At least for that year I'm glad it was Auburn and not us.

Always was a point of pride for me to say we won it in Pasadena, Auburn didn't. Hope I can still say the same tomorrow night, but I can no longer say they've never been there.

Btw just because I have an AU handle doesn't mean I'm rooting for the barn. Whenever I use another teams's handle they always lose (whether I want them to or not).
I jinxed MSU in the College World Series.
I jinxed USCe when they played UGA
and I jinxed Duke when they played FSU.
Hopefully the jinx will work on Auburn.

Try being a UA grad who grew up in Tallahassee.
My FB feed is FULL UP of Seminoles and Aubies all out in Cali in fricking shorts and tank tops and shite.
At this point I'm more jealous of the weather as I listen to ice pelt my windows and roof.
I'm rooting for FSU because I went to a ton of ballgames there growing up and my brother and mother are huge FSU fans - plus I don't have to deal with FSU fans on the regular like the Aubies.
But after the shitshow that has been my FB feed for the past few days, I about hate every single one of those assholes.
"OH IT'S 84 DEGREES HERE IN SUNNY CALIFORNIA!!! LOVING IT!"
Oh shut the frick up.

This is one of the many reasons you should never talk football with Auburn people. I've met some (i.e. four) nice Auburn fans in my lifetime, but even they were impossible to have a reasoned football discussion with. It's even worse with the majority of them, who are geeky, pompous engineers. They have this bizarre holier-than-thou messiah complex mixed with a martyr complex and a Napoleon complex, all born of horrific insecurity. They legitimately believe that their fanbase is made up 100% of Auburn alumni, that being an Auburn alumnus is equivalent to being a Harvard alumnus, and that God himself personally favors their team over all others.
