Coaching.
Exactly.
Three national championship contenders with three different coaches in 10 years.
They mean to get their money's worth when they pay a guy millions.

While true they are also the most shameless SOB's on the planet. Would rather go 9-3 for life than be Auburn.

Weve only had two NC contenders in the last 10 years with our shitty staff.

Changing from the pro to the power spread with Marshall to execute it?
Or what about a different OC?
Chizik was awesome with Cam and Fairley but what happened when they were gone?
There's more to success in football than the head coach. It's very short-sighted to think otherwise.

IB Freeman is a libertarian, so he's short-sighted.

I don't recall us playing in a national championship game.
Nobody likes Aubarn but there is no denying they have little patience with millionaire coaches.
I have believed for several years CMR is essentially burnt out but the pay is so good there is no way he is leaving. Oh he gets up for a game every once in a while--cried after LSU--but he is awful lackadaisical in many games too. The team is certainly not as disciplined as other teams. I can imagine how burn out would happen. Who wants to day in and day out deal with 17-20 boys and their troubles?
It's not anti dawgs to point things like that out.
CMR is a dawg because he is paid to be a dawg. Same with all these coaches at essentially all these schools. He is not one of us. He is paid help. Nice guy but paid help. We should treat him more like that.

2005 SEC Champions.
2006-present every SEC champion, undefeated or not, played for the NC game. We got fricked.
2012 SEC Championship Game was the national championship.

We lost to both UF and AU in 2005. How does that qualify as contending for the NC when both Texas and USC were undefeated headed to the NC game?

It doesn't but of course the retort is LSU got in with 2 losses in 2007 because a bunch of other teams had 2 losses.

Because we werent lucky to have other teams lose? Every sec team to win bcs nc since then, except two, werent undefeated.

Yall are right. Fire everybody. Georgia sucks. I'll be an Auburn fan until things turn around, then I'll be a Georgia fan again.
No, not Auburn. I'll be an LSU fan.
This fricking place.

Malzahn recruited players for his offense up to 2011. When he left Chizik tried to run a pro-style offense with those players and it didn't work. He also didn't have a QB worth a damn so they went 3-9. Malzahn comes back with all the talent he recruited for his offense already in place and you know the rest.
