They have really only been close once in 03 and Eli gagged it hard. With LSU, Bama, A+m, and Auburn do you ever see Ole Miss getting over the hump and winning the West?

They did beat LSU, and I give them credit. Even with that, they still managed to finish in the bottom half of the West.

Not scared at all. Just funny how Ole Myth is the only team from the West (besides A+M who has only played 2 seasons in SEC) to not make it to ATL. What changes in the future to get them to a west title?

This. Yes, the west is stacked right now but there are always ups and downs.

They've got such a tough road to make it any given year, but they'll eventually catch the right breaks. They've actually had some pretty good teams in recent memory. Their 2008 team was probably the third best team in the SEC that year.

I don't see them finishing higher than 3rd in the west any time soon

I do think they have a chance at 3rd in the west next season

No. Perhaps Ole Miss should try to figure out how to beat Mullin's State team first.

How does it feel to know that Mississippi State has a better record against Ole Miss the last six years than LSU? If y'all want to win it again, perhaps you should learn how to beat us.

Bama is the only school out of those that I know we can't beat. The others are very beatable.
