The sec does award in case of ties. They were considered West Champs this season..

Typical delusional hypocritical gump, not to be confused with the non gump bama fan.

They both went 7-1, so yes, they did tie. Hence the "tiebreaker" used, which was head-to-head matchup in this case.

The fact that AU beat them, won the SEC champ game and think there was a possible tie......laughable. Delusional, entitled,
Posted on 1/3/14 at 8:38 pm to TigerTool461
Again, that thing they used to determine who went to the SECCG is called a TIEbreaker. It breaks ties. Which there was. The word 'tie' is literally in the name. 7-1 is the same record as 7-1.
But if this was 1941, they probably claim a national title. Now they have people that contest that shite these days.

Yeah, they actually do. Not kidding. They to it in every conference. It's kind of dumb, but technically Auburn and Bama were co-champs of the SEC West.

I may be mistaken but I believe they designate it champs and co-champs
Posted on 1/3/14 at 8:47 pm to AirRaidTT
Wow......they award ties? That is gayer than aids. That's as bad as being happy with a BCS co-champs......oh wait.....thanks Reggie.
