Team average for the 2012 season was 3.86 penalties per game. I can't find the 2013 stats, but my assumption is that they are similar. LINK

In the 2012 and 2013 games without SEC officials, they are as follows:

vs. Michigan - 7
vs. Notre Dame - 4
vs. Virginia Tech - 4
vs. Oklahoma - 6

Last year it was schedules. Now it is sec officials. I love how LSU fans switch it up every offseason

Why am I not shocked.

By the way have the 2 5 Star recruits that LSU landed yesterday dropped to 4 stars yet?

Does it matter? 90% of the good recruits in your state go to Alabama anyway. And as far as the penalties.....that's a maximum of 7. I don't see how any of this is bad except for Michigan. Everyone is just trying to flame Bama since they lost. Well mostly LSU fans because they can't get it done on the field against Bama and have to live vicariously through Little Brother's Miracle run.

The ain't no doubt Ritter is a dirty ref. He has to have dirt on someone or getting paid off. He is the worse official in college football.

I love how you're taking that statement so seriously. You know I was exaggerating. But alabama really does seem to be all up in LSU's kitchen when it comes to recruiting.

I have noticed that some teams get away with a lot of holding. Alabama is one of them.

Now, whatever they're paying the refs Florida will triple that after being the worst penalized team in the SEC for the greater part of three years now.

So, you're telling me that Alabama has been less disciplined in the first game of the season (after an 8 month layoff) and the last game of the season (after a one month layoff)? Color me shocked.
