I don't understand how he's the best player ever but y'all are going to be better next year without him and one of the best WR's in the nation too.

I don't understand how a team can finish last in the SEC but play for a MNC the following year.

Please explain.

He just wasn't as consistent as Cam. Y'all could have swapped JFF with Jordan Jefferson against us and no one would have noticed much of a difference. All the blame didn't lie on the defense for that game. I don't remember Cam having any games like that.

Cam Newton also did it in 2010, when the SEC West was the toughest it had ever been.

Well certainly Feldman is the final word expert.

JFF also shattered Cam's yardage record.

In both of his seasons.

Yes, that includes the one in which JFF played 3 top 5 teams. Cam didn't play a top 5 team until the BCS game.

He did it in both seasons despite having played a game less in each.

The greatest player of all time was never even good enough to lead his team to a BCS bowl or at least a tie for their division championship? That's interesting

Why does this (people thinking he's the best collegiate player) bother so many of y'all?
Manziel's greatness in no way detracts from your schools' successes.

Indeed, even the greatest of all time cannot go unscathed with arguably the worst defense of any AQ team while playing a schedule featuring three top 5 opponents.

I completely agree.

Okay, so let's go with he was hurt. Y'all don't have any backups that could've put up a better performance than that? If y'all don't then this spells trouble for y'all next year. If y'all do, then Sumlin made a really bonehead call by leaving JFF in the game despite drastically underperforming causing y'all to lose the game in the fashion that y'all did.

He didn't have the worst defense of all time last season. And still couldn't even share a division title.

The biggest game he's ever played in is a Cotton Bowl. That's not impressive

You don't just bench the country's best player when he's telling you he's good enough to go. It was a thumb injury, and it's obvious this 2013 team lived and died by JFF. It's a weak-minded team without a whole lot of player leadership. You needed him for reasons apart from just his play.

QBs are Sumlin's forte. This has never been and will never be an issue in this offense.

Your post is not impressive, as it has nothing to do with what you quoted.

It's just disjointed drivel.

All I know is if I was a Head Coach and I had to pick Cam or Manziel to be my QB, I'm picking Cam with no hesitation.
