Feldman is usually pretty accurate. Why wouldn't you want PJ to leave?

He wants to be bought out so he can go to Alabama when Saban quits.

Stay or go, that fat surly waste has destroyed the GT football program.

He currently has a bunch of 2 stars that can run the triple option. That's it.

He stays and the talent continues to decline and he continues to lose to any team with a pulse.

He leaves and all of those 2 star triple option players stay. With a new coach who will almost assuredly run a more conventional offense that needs some actual football talent to succeed.

GT is doomed as doomed can be.

When Paul Johnson gets canned, GT will be absolutely dreadful for at least a couple years. The longer they stick it out with him, the worse it will be when he leaves.

While their talent level will be laughably bad, the fact that they'll run a real offense will instantly upgrade them.

Yep. Tech hiring that sack of human waste was the football equivalent of Cortez scuttling his ships on the Yucatan peninsula: it was either going to succeed wildly or be a massive disaster.

Here's to the massive disaster.
