There's really no excuse for the losing. Bama has much better talent than OU, but you've got to understand. OU is in dire straights right now. They are getting shite kicked on the recruiting trail. They needed this win MUCH MORE than Bama.
Still, it's not an excuse and I hate it when Bama gets to eat humble pie. That usually works out bad for the rest of us.

the ESPN koolaid is why non-SEC fans all wanted Bama to lose. SEC fans are cool to shoot the shite with and very knowledgeable about football for the most part.
In the past few years though, ESPN has gotten so bad that they make it seem like the 6th best team in the SEC would go undefeated in other conferences.

Actually, I agree with you taylormade. That is something I've always hated about ESPN - their unabashed sensationalism and bandwaggoning.
