Is how 2nd and Long seems to put us into a panic mode. We really seem to live and die by first down. We get completely flustered when things get off-schedule. That seem to be the case all year....with a senior QB and an elite WR corps.

Meanwhile OU seemed to thrive on 3rd and Long and down or distance didn't phase them. Hell, they welcomed the 1st and 30. They aren't the first team we've faced this year to be that way either. It's amazing that these times have that confidence against our defense.

I'm not sure if it's a mental thing or simply a philosophy/gameplan issue, but it's there.

We played a bad game. That Sooner QB played incredible. Losses happen. At least we got a telling glimpse of the man beast that is Derrick Henry. What a special talent. He has the potential to be the best player in the country in the next two years.

I was a skepticle at first, but damn, this guy is a special talent.

Spot on. We had 5 freaking turnovers...you cant do that and expect to win. Sooners played their butts off and so did our guys. Sooners outcoached us and the QB had a baller game. Hats off to them. Hate to send the seniors out like this but hopefully this lights a fire under the team for spring football to improve

And we have the best coach at taking away what a team does best. For every young QB that has gashed under Saban we have strung 4 up and hung them out to dry. When Saban plays a young QB he does the same thing everyone playing a young QB does, he makes the young QB prove himself. Knight did last night that is just football. Same thing happened to Chavis two years ago in that same stadium, you might remember it.
