I attended the game in College Station with my brother who lives in Houston. His daughter and son in law (he was a member of the A&M National Champions in golf several years ago)

First the fans were great some of he nicest I have experienced in my years as a Tiger fan.

Second the Aggies could not believe how many LSU fans were there, the most they have seen. I told them welcome to the SEC as every team travels well.

Third I told them they would have the greatest recruiting ever, these kids want to play in the greatest conference.

Pray for our troops

I'm glad you enjoyed your time in College Station. We Aggies would rather show a little southern hospitality than harass opposing fans.

It took awhile to be accustomed to seeing opposing fans at Kyle Field. Among our former conference mates, only Texas would consistently show up in big numbers. For example, during RG3's Heisman year, Baylor only sold 830 tickets from its allotment.

Baylor, located less than 100 miles from the Texas A&M campus, sold a rather embarrassing 830 of 3,850 tickets provided according to the release. Texas was the only school to sell out its allotment:

This is the SEC effect. Being the only SEC school in Texas has proven to be very marketable among recruits.

Good stuff--thanks!
We certainly have our share of haters in the SEC; but from our perspective, it feels like finally being home.
Come back any time. All are always welcome. If we're not buying a visitor an icy beer, we're doin' something wrong.

Your haters are on a message board, don't take these idiots seriously.
I personally am stoked about you guys back on our regular schedule. I have never made it to College Station but will go next year. I am a big fan of College Football in part because of the traditions and am fired up to check out Kyle Filed and your rich traditions.
