OTB dog experts I need some help.

Gfs puppy will not stop shitting and pissing and rolling around in it when she's in the kennel.
I never put my dog in a kennel so I don't really know how to make her stop.
Anybody got any ideas?

Is the kennel bigger than he can just sleep in(longer than but to nose)?

Yeah well she shits all over the house when she's out.

Get a smaller kennel. One not much bigger than the dog.

That's your problem, during crate training the kennel should be no bigger than an area to sleep. It may take a bit to correct this, but that's your problem.
See if you can get a smaller kennel or use something to block it off safely.
Eta, also depending on the age, you might need to take it out more often as well. Just remember when you set it up to fail, they will. And failure is a hard habit to break.

Like others said, smaller kennel and frequent trips outside. Also, it's good to establish a phrase so they will go on command.

Get rid of Kennel.
When it shits or pisses inside stick its nose in it and then smack it on the head. Then take it outside immediately.
Repeat until it stops shitting inside.

They hate laying in their own slop. If they can shite in one side and sleep in the other it's all good.
Puppies often need to go out every 4-6 hours.

Then turn it over to Michael Vick for even better treatment. Maybe you can try the old motor oil all over the body trick if you think it has mange.

I'm serious. It worked for my black lab when I trained him. No different than spanking a child it's not like I beat him just a slap on the nose or top of the head.

I'm with deltalqnd on this. My boxer learned really fast when he got a face full off piss or shite a few times a day for a week. People don't give dogs credit for how fast they can actually pick so,etching up.

I never use a kennel so I can't really help.
But a rolled up magazine to the nose after putting the puppies nose in the shite or piss works every time.
Takes about 2-3 months
