I wanted to put this in it's on thread so it didn't get washed away in tMegathread.

I see some premature butthurt because we aren't expecting to have the monumental all star game day like we are used to. Ponder this for a moment.

If Miller, Robinson, Hand, Scarbrough and Clark were announcing for Alabama today then we'd be singing the praises of this class. We'd be going from upset with the haul to ecstatic. Instead we appear to be going from content to depressed.

Keep it all in perspective. In the end, whether a kid chooses Alabama in July or at the UAAG on national TV they are still choosing Alabama. A kid that commits in the summer isn't less of a player than he would be had he committed in January. Just food for thought

We have the most players committed out of any team. Just keep that in mind.

Don't see too much negativity but people are concerned about the help needed in the secondary and it's a legitimate concern.

And we are going to finish with the best class in the coutnry. I'm not one that expected us to land a great haul today

A lot seem to be down in the dumps because it appears we aren't going to get several commits today. A week ago we were only expected to be in play for Tabor among the guys announcing and even he was viewed as a tossup. All of the sudden misinformation starts leaking as the game gets closer to sell subscriptions and drum up excitement and eyes to tune in.

We'll be fine with or without a single commitment today. Trust the staff

Brown was always a longshot and tabor was always a tossup. Clark and Williams are in the fold, hootie and marlon are still on the board. There are several defensive backs from the last class that redshirted. Just let it play out. The sky isn't falling if we strike out today

Verbal pledges are great and all that, but mean absolutely nothing until they actually sign the LOI on NSD.

That's when I'll be happy...once the ink is put to paper.
