It is a bit misleading to look at the base stats because so many of the PAC wins were early in the bowl season against non Big 5 schools. SEDC did not play a bowl game in the 1st 1/3 and they are still 5-1 and I think only 1 game was against a non Big 5 team. SEC kicking arse and taking names.
Interesting as if Arkansas State beats Ball State, the Sun Belt will be undefeated, and the MAC will be defeated!

How about conferences wins vs ranked top 25 teams?
Like has been pointed out the PAC is doing well but haven't played as many Big 5 conference opposition as others which gives them easier matchups.
What are the conference records vs top 25?

Sec will be 6-2 after Sugar and BCSNCCG. Good run.

edit for Central Florida win and Baylor loss

The SEC has a realistic shot at 90 percent but its likely it will be 80 percent. Damn Georgia though screwing everything up and keeping us from doing 10-0

Only reason I do is because its a good troll on other conferences. To me that is where "conference pride" begins and ends. But Georgia losing is something we should be use to by now.

The only reason I root for the SEC in bowl games is because the national respect the SEC gets is beneficial to A&M.

Win yours before you bump them gums Gump

Honestly, I could care less about conference pride. However, you can't deny the fact if the SEC dominates the bowl games and keeps National Title streak alive we will have the possibility of more teams making the final four year in and year out. Ask Auburn 2004 how great that feels to be left out.

The success is based on the sum being greater than the parts. For all those supposedly smart schools in all the other conferences they sure are dumb about mutual cooperation for the advancement of the whole.

Would be good to see the SEC go 9-1.

Mizzou, Auburn and Vandy, please show up and do what you are supposed to do to save the conference from any more embarrassment this year. Thanks.

Congrats to Mizzou as that puts the SEC @ 75%
If the SEC wins 1 of the remaining 2 games they will cement 1st place in the Big 5 schools. Considering they played no games in the first 3rd like the PAC did, this is pretty impressive!

I like Vandy to handle business, and while I personally think FSU breaks the streak, I have learned to never count out an SEC team in the big game.
