Well, all of the Brown talk is coming from him making the comment about enrolling January 8th. That's Bama's early enrollment date. LSU's isn't until the 15th. We shall see I guess.

pretty sure that was a joke haha. Offer 100 a year with maybe 30-40 of those being committable.

Bama and LSU people help me out. Why would someone early enroll the day classes start? Obviously I've never early enrolled at a university, but that's the timeline Jimmy gave for both LSU and Alabama's early enrollment periods starting. Shouldn't early enrollment start before classes so the students can have their schedules set up, get moved on campus, etc.?

True. Brown also mentioned something about only missing one day of track practice. Who knows when those practice dates start.

A kid that has kept things this close to the vest this long wouldn't give it away now, this close to a televised announcement. He very well could go to Bama, but this is just a recruit building up to his announcement with a calculated statement. And it worked beautifully. Hats off to him.
