Looking ahead towards next year and assuming we lose both Greg Robinson and Tre mason to the draft, we return 8 starters on offense including 4 of 5 linemen, all receivers and the quarterback. This is something to certainly be optimistic about and dare I say, this offense could be our best ever.
Our line could consist of this:
LT Shon Colemon/Avery Young/Pat Miller
LG Alex Kozan/Danzey
C Dismukes
RG Chad Slade/Jordan Diamond
RT Shon Colemon/Avery Young/Pat Miller
If (and most likely will) Greg Robinson goes pro, we will lose 1 lineman off of our two deep.
At tailback we will return two players with significant playing time with CAP and Grant and will roll Barber, Ford and Thomas into the fold. It hurts losing Mason if he goes pro but we have a talented group of tailbacks running behind what could be a very good line again next year.
Quarterback is the interesting part, we had a chance to see Jeremy Johnson in a couple games this year and he certainly looks the part of future of Auburn football but you can't ignore what Marshall brings to the table either. I expect to see improvement in the passing game from Marshall given another 6 months to prepare without worrying as much about the playbook as working on fundamentals.
Fullback/HBack is the worry. Prosch certainly wasn't a flashy guy and didn't get any media love but he was out in front of a lot of big runs for us this year. Ricky Parks is set to return to the team this next year and I could see Pettway bulking up a little to become a more versatile HBack role than what Prosch provided with a downgrade in blocking.
Receivers should be a deep group for us next year and provide some good targets for Marshall to throw to. We return every receiver and bring in the top JUCO receiver.
If Marshall develops a little more in the passing game and can average around the 175 ypg mark, this offense could be more difficult to defend than 2010 dreamed of being. This offense could be more balanced with more weapons at each position.

If we don't go 14-0, I will be pissed. This 13-1 bullshite isn't going to cut it.

I hope we keep a strong O line as long as I'm still a fan. Everything else seems to work itself out.
