I highly doubt this affects LF's decision at all... The only hope I have is that Bama rarely loses in these kinds of situations with recruits, so we have a shot. However, I still think he goes to LSU. Hard to pass up immediate PT for the hometown team.

I don't think so. I know all LSU fans for some reason think they're gonna do a clean sweep with all the LA 5-stars (plus Adams, Brown, and according to some, Adoree), but if you've followed recruiting before, you should know that those kinds of dream classes just don't happen. I'm not saying LF goes to Bama, in fact, I don't think that he will. But I don't think its a "lock," like you seem to believe. If he chooses Bama, I wouldn't be surprised at all.

You're right. It doesn't happen often. We lost CamRob to Alabama. Highly unlikely IMO that we get Adoree. But, we will get:

Yes, that's unusual to you but it just so happens that LA has extra crazy elite talent this year and we're the only major University in our state. That's unusual too for most so it makes it possible. Add in some great OOS pulls by the staff and there you go. If you don't think the guys I listed are favoring LSU, then I don't know what to tell you. USC landed 8 5 stars once before. It can happen.
It's a shame we didn't land CamRob too.

Oh he definitely has too much Bama in him already.
I do respect him not dragging out the process though and leaving LSU hanging until NSD. He let LSU know early. Unlike others before him. :)

I don't know if those guys are favoring LSU or not; I'm not (nor is anyone on this board) close enough to the recruits to know what school they're gonna pick. I do know that LSU is the favorite right now to get all those recruits (save Adoree), so there's a great chance of that happening, but surprises do occur all the time in recruiting. I can already name 3 involving Bama from this cycle: Da'Shawn Hand picking us over Michigan when nearly everyone thought the Wolverines were a heavy favorite, CJ Hampton picking (or re-picking) OM over us when he had long been predicted to flip, and Hootie decommitting from us when he had seemed as solid as anyone in his pledge. I'm not saying surprises are for sure gonna happen with these "LSU locks," but I certainly think it could happen.
