Now. It's absurd how many future NFL players were on the field that day on both sides. God we use to be so loaded.

Spurriers final SEC game at Florida. Gators could not stop Travis Stephens. Don't remember the line on the game, but most people did not expect Tennessee to win. Hell of a game.

It was -17.

Edit: Looking back on it though, that saved us an arse-beating from Miami.

Well LSU fricked up our shot at them too. I don't necessarily think we would have won, but I would have loved to found out. The U was loaded that year, but we honestly weren't that far off from them NFL talent wise.

We lost both games Earnest Graham didn't play in.

I still hate Darnell Dockett for what he did.

I guess it was karma for Gaffney's "td" the previous year.

Well Grossman had 5 or 6 turnovers against Auburn and we just couldn't stop Travis Stephens, so I don't think Graham would've made a difference.

That's because there was a 500mph wind swirling the stadium and we couldn't run the ball without Graham.

I always attribute the 2004 game as karma for the Gaffney "catch".

Of course after that game you guys have hung 9 in a row on us. If we don't get you guys next year I might lose my sanity.

And Gillespie was Mr. Butterfingers.

Had UF beat Tennessee, they would've crushed LSU in the SECCG (sorry LSU fans, you know this is true) and would've faced Miami in Pasadena.

UF probably doesn't win, but I don't think Miami would've crushed them like they did against Nebraska.

Yall remember that time that Clausen would've played for a national title if not for Saban and LSU?

I watched this game last night. I so miss the days when Tennessee would just run the ball down the other team's throat like this. We had a sick defense in '01 too. Grossman is a tough SOB imo. VOLS D just kept hammering him and he kept getting back up.

Now I'm fricking depressed thinking about the week that followed this game. Goddamnit.

Grossman should've won the Heisman in 01. One of the biggest snubs IMO. He was insane that year.

That 01 UF @ LSU game was a clinic of passing perfection.

That game doesn't count.

Zook ran one of the most talented UF teams ever into the ground
