As we speak, the REC is framing Parker McLeod with a BS misdemeanor, thereby ensuring his ascension to the Auburn starting job in 2015.

Eh whatever. I pray during football games too, DWI.

That said, I recognize it is an insignificant thing to pray about, and I don't actually pray "God let us win"

What do you pray for, then, if I may ask?

Let's hope this JJ is better than LSU's JJ in the long run

Still think Auburn's a year ahead of schedule. When he takes over then you'll see the "best team under Gus" imo.

agreed. Gus loves to run the ball, but he's NEVER been this imbalanced. I see his offense under JJ as a mix of his O at Tulsa and with Cam at Auburn. That is Gus "at his best" IMO

They are ahead of schedule, but Malzahn had felt he could win with the talent that was there especially after getting Marshall to sign (I don't mean he was counting on the BCSNC, as I don't really know his thoughts. I am just sharing what he has said). Once the season started unfolding he felt it necessary to get JJ ready to take over should something happen to Nick. He knew Wallace would not be a viable back up to winning games, so they put JJ in.

They always have a game plan set up for JJ each game and depending on how the game unfolds will determine how they use him if at all.

Gus has created a system that JJ doesnt fit into at the moment... yeh he's a good passer but how good is he at the read? thats the "?" if hes no good then why change what you're doing. im sure gus has a plan. i mean look at how he plays those 3 backs...
all hail gus!

I could see JJ redshirting next year if NM doesn't get hurt at all.

This was my biggest worry when Gus burned his redshirt this year. Still wish we would have just used JWall for the Western Carolina game and left JJ alone til next year.

Dont question Gus. He is the best coach in football. He wins games running 3 plays. Deal with it.

Man it's going to be fun Aubie's turn on Gus.

It'll be even more fun watching him kick Arkansas' arse every year.

Goes to show how great a coach he is.

He was basically running the air raid offense at Tulsa. Nice balance with Cam at Auburn. Now mostly run with Marshall.

I think that balance potentially with JJ makes them all the more dangerous in the future (not saying he's Cam...just can bring better balance than Marshall imo)

Didnt Auburn's current QB signee win best QB at the Elite 11 Camp?

Maybe not redshirting him creates nice separation for Gus.

I agree with this. We needed JJ to be ready this year in case Marshall went down also. I don't think you can fault Gus for being prepared.
