"I play this game not just because of the money, man," Green said. "I play because one day I want to put on that Hall of Fame jacket. Also, I want a Super Bowl. The money is just going to come anyway. But if you're not happy, the money really doesn't mean anything.
"I love to win. I came from a winning program in high school (in Summerville, S.C.), won all the time (at the University of Georgia), and I want to win here, and we're doing that. That next step is trying to take it to the next level."

That is great that he thinks this way. When a lot of college kids go to the NFL it is all about the money and not for the love of the game.

Alls we gave him here is 10 wins.

That's interesting. I wonder if we have a skewed perception as fans watching the game since we get pissed and take to the internet after every loss?
If AJ thinks he "won all the time" here..I wonder what other former players and recruits think about our records.

For those who want to make it to the NFL/HOF, college championships are good, but not necessary.
A winning program like ours consistently gets on TV and puts players in the spotlight where they can be evaluated by scouts beyond what they can show during the combine or on pro days. We have a winning program, and that may be good enough for most recruits. It isn't enough for most fans, though.

He'd already mastered college and he was looking for his next challenge.

That's why stayed 4 years huh?
Not sure what you're saying, but if you're implying that he stayed four years, he totally dipset his junior year.

We had Matt stafford passing to him. And handing the ball off to Moreno. And got beat by UCF. Happy Saturday everyone.

How drunk are you?

Pretty drunk. Was Moreno on that team?
Posted on 12/28/13 at 7:36 am to olddawg26
There was a whole season separating all three of those players from that team

To be fair AJ did play in that shitfest. The other 2 had been gone for 2 seasons before the game.

Let's not ever bring up UCF.
That game pretty much turned me from a disney dawg to "fire all the coaches" dawg.

UCF has a darn good football program. That school has over 50k students and is playing in the Fiesta Bowl vs Baylor. They went 11-1 this season and gave SC all they could stand in UCF's only loss.

We weren't playing this UCF team in 2010. We were playing in a shitty bowl in memphis. We had absolutely positively no business ever losing that game. One of the most frustrating losses I've ever witnessed.
