That's pretty hysterical that he is going to have to welch on that public radio bet.
ETA: forgot Pawwl is with the ESPN mothership now - fly that boy's arse out there and put him on the sideline

What's funny is that the caller didn't even bring it up, Paul did. I could understand if the caller instigated everything and Paul was just agreeing to appease the caller but not after listening to the way it went down. That sucks.

If Paul doesn't pay up, he's even more of a bitch...

Paul said he would pay for the guy's trip to Pasadena if Auburn won out the rest of the games & made it to the NCG. I really do hate Fbaum and dont give him the time of day to listen, but something like this was above the cusp of my threshold.

This will end up being interesting. Contract law requires a few things: offer, acceptance, consideration and capacity to make it. The fact that there are tapes of it, Finebaum was the one who brought it up and even confirmed it a few times after means that he could be held liable and this could actually be taken to court.

I've heard Pawwl enough to know he says a lot of stuff tongue and cheek as well as answering absurd questions with absurd answers. To me it just sounds like Paul being Paul and not Paul making a serious wager. Sucks for this guy, but he is pretty dumb if he took any of that seriously. As far as the people telling him to get a lawyer, his money would be better spent just buying a damn ticket.

Fact: Paul Finebaum resembles a penis with glasses.

I'm not saying for him to get a lawyer, I'm just saying that if he chose to that he would have a case.

What in God's name is wrong with your penis for you to think that?

FIFY
BTW: the conversation was about an undefeated Auburn team jumping an Oregon team. Paul could/should honor it, but it is not a slam dunk.

If he had said it once kind of sarcastically then I would throw it away as him being a smartass but he reaffirmed it a couple times. I think I would be a bit pissed at him if this were me.

Holy shite, that kid's facebook page is painful to look at. It's every southern stereotype all in one place.

consideration in this one I would think would be that Finebaum made the offer, the kid accepted and Finebaum even reiterated it by confirming it a few times. Finebaum's only defense against it would really be the consideration part but I don't think he would have much to argue for him.
