It was kind of NCG or bust for me this year. I'm trying, but I just can't get excited to play in the Sugar Bowl this year. We're even playing a big name team and it's doing nothing for me.

It isn't ideal but I am excited that we're playing Oklahoma.

Unfortunately NC or bust is a great philosphy to have but it is unrealistic. I'm trying to accept that for what it is

Are you old enough to remember losing to them in the early 2000's?

This one is all about settling scores and bloodyin' domes. We're gonna longdick big game Bob & co. right after locking down some good recruits (Wallace/Tabor).

I wanted the 3 peat as much/more than anyone. It didnt happen. It is hard. Time to focus on recruiting and kicking arse where we can at this time.

Nick Saban's goal every year is to contend for NC every season. The last 2 years we won and this year we fell a little short. We may have not reached our top goal, but look at it this way, we could be playing UCF or Northern Illinois next week. I am really looking forward to seeing Saban and Stoops go mind for mind. To me, we got a pretty good consulation prize all things considered and yes, im really looking forward to seeing this in person. RTR!

Yes, I was at the game in Tuscaloosa. I'm not mad we lost those. I felt we were luck just to keep them close. We were pretty bad those years.

I can't wait until the Sugar Bowl and a chance for Bama to beat Oklahoma. Bama has got to end the longest losing streak that they have had since the 2008 season, 1 game.

I'm super excited. We're going to New Orleans to play a big name team, and one that we owe a beating as well. Why not be excited?

We win, we will likely finish #3 in the BCS, and have another 12 win season.

Not sure why the doom and gloom here.

Oh... and I am excited as frick. Matchups like Alabama-Oklahoma is what the Sugar Bowl is supposed to be, not Oregon, not Baylor. I'm getting a reason to spend a few days in New Orleans and I'm really looking forward to it. There's something great about attending stress-free bowl games. They're a lot of fun

Dude I get excited when Alabama plays Chattanooga.

It's Alabama football. In the Sugar Bowl. Against Oklahoma. If you don't love that, I don't know what to tell you.
