Wow. Glad to hear he's OK.

Glad he is okay.
It's a testament to modern engineering and how even the smallish cars are about to take that kind of abuse and still allow the passenger to survive.
Did he hit a concrete median or a level grass median? I've seen a couple of cars flip hitting concrete medians at major intersections trying to avoid hitting a car running a stop light ... both times I was sitting there waiting on the light to turn when I saw the accidents and both times it amazed me how quickly the cars dodging the runner flipped when they hit the medians ... and how many times they can flip.
Your boy had his seat belt on too I assume. Seat belts definitely save lives.

snow drift then crossed to a grass median the tires grabbed and flipped twice... and as is said here in the south.. "Bless his heart" boy is not that good of a driver to begin with.. but he is actually almost in WA now... so we will be able to breath a sigh of relief

I can look at the pictures of that and safely say that one is totaled.

Right on, I can't figure out what year that model was, so I didn't know. The only new car (under a year old) that I've seen totaled was a van we were using to shuttle us to a party in HS. A buddies girl was the DD and she didn't drink, but we were being dumb and some guy in the 3rd row said, "let's see how fast we can go around this turn." Wet road, on-coming car, 60 foot drop off of the hill, a 3 foot oak that saved our lives (kept us from falling down the additional 40 feet which would've been straight down onto rocks,...) That was a new car but both axels broke and the engine actually fell out of the car and rolled down to the rocks below and smashed. That van was totaled.
My buddy in college had a brand new Camaro (less than a month) and flipped it on 26 over near Cayce, but it wasn't totaled.
I thought that they just used the formula to see if it would cost more to fix than to replace.

That's brutal, I can't even tell what kind of car that was before the accident. He shouldn't feel too bad though...I live in Kansas and we got the same snow that Missouri just had and it was really bad, nearly 8" and accidents everywhere so he's not alone. Glad he's ok.

Meh, he hasn't flamed the board directly. SEC Rant is always anything goes.
I don't think he did anything wrong, personally.

hmm. It would've probably been better for me to abstain from this discussion, but I will engage nonetheless.
I'm pretty torn here, I like the whole circle the wagons idea that SCRooster preaches especially on the SC Board, in principle it's a good idea.
However, IMO, the SECr main board is open country and nobody should be expected to play nice out there out of fear from being kicked off a team's board. (At least I hope not, b/c I say whatever I want there about other teams.)
In BDV's defense, I haven't seen him start a troll thread on the SC Board. IMO, that's the bigger concern. I think it's really about being cordial when you're in your neighbor's house, but everything is fair game out in the street...kinda thing. Furthermore, I found the booger comment to be more funny than hostile, (but that's just my perception, smack talk roles right by me usually.)
Although, my perspective on this matter is slightly biased, as I have access to a couple team's boards and have been operating under that MO for a while now.
Also, I do have a general "No Ban/No RA" policy as well, which is why I would make a terrible admin.
