This matchup annoys me. OU is terrible. I am not even sure they should be ranked. They played 2 decent teams this year and lost both by two plus TDs including about a 30 point beatdown.

I am not sure OU could beat Vandy, MSU, or Ole Miss this year in the SEC. They certainly have not shown they are capable, getting their arse kicked by the only two decent teams they played. The two teams that kicked their arse would probably not even be in the top 6 in the SEC this year and they BEAT OU badly.

What annoys me is Oregon-Bama would have been a game to watch and entertaining. Bama-OU is a mismatch and not remotely interesting IMO. Highly doubtful I will watch as well.

Agreed. I would've loved Oregon instead of Oklahoma.

What makes Oregon any good? Had they lost to Oregon State (which they should have I may add), they would have lost 3 out of their last 4. In case you didn't catch any of the Stanford game, Oregon shows a glaring weakness when they face physically dominate teams. Alabama would destroy them.

Nice setup. Now Bama has to run OU out of the stadium to meet your expectation.

Oh, I think Bama would whup Oregon badly. But it would be fun to watch style wise and fun for a top sec tm to beat on a top pack 12 team.

Instead we get a total crap matchup that is not interesting or watchable to me.

Bama will fwiw. OU is really not any good at all.

Also I would think Bama fans would want an interesting matchup. Both because Bamas schedule was so bad this year, it had to be boring. I watched two Bama games all year and seriously I really doubt I will watch Bama ou. Don't even know what day the game is.

There is a real possibility that he will dvr it and either rewind plays or just watch the entire thing again at a later date

bullshite. I have watched two Bama games this year not counting the ib. If it is over the weekend before au, I'll be in Vegas and the chances I'm watching it are about 5%.

You guys are funny. Do yall watch every AU game? I sure as shite don't watch half of Bamas games and this one will just depend on if I have nothing better to do or not. Bama vs Oregon I would actually know when the game is and plan around it to watch.

You'll just accidentally find a 3.5 hour gap in your busy schedule and act as if you're not hanging on every single play. Who started this thread anyway?

Agreed. I was hoping for Ohio State or Oregon. Oklahoma isn't a great team this year, but it's a pretty nice matchup from a historical standpoint. Plus we owe them a beating.

Remember that time Johnny fricking Football threw 1 touchdown and 5 interceptions in his career vs LSU?

Good times.

depends if you count Thursday Jan. 2 as the weekend. It is the only game that day, by the way. Given those circumstances, I would watch no matter who was in it. Maybe I'm just a bigger football fan than you *shrug*
