if Malzahn would have left Auburn after the 2010 season and accepted the Vanderbilt coaching position....how would things in the SEC (specifically Auburn and Vandy) be different today???

I know James Franklin has done a tremendous job at Vanderbilt.....would Gus have taken them a step or two further than Franklin has? Who would be the HC at Auburn right now??

He would have won a few more than Franklin and would have already been announced as the new Texas coach.

Guys, we really have it good. I just want to keep the staff together for a few years. Long enough for us to build the depth necessary to win in a year where there is turnover within the staff.

I don't think Vandy would be any further than they are now simply because they don't have the athletes that Auburn has.
