ESPN will provide the typical game broadcast headed by Brent Musburger and Kirk Herbstreit. ESPN2 will provide a "BCS Title Talk" broadcast with the game, which will include analysts, guest hosts, coaches and celebrities.

ESPNews will broadcast "BCS Film Room," which is expected to be an in-depth, play-by-play analysis of the game with camera angles not used in the ESPN broadcast.

ESPN Classic will air the typical game broadcast on ESPN, but the play-by-play call will be removed in favor of natural sounds provided by microphones on the field, in the stands and from the Rose Bowl's public address announcer.

ESPN Goal Line provides the "BCS Command Center" option with split-screen views of live game action and immediate replays of every play. The ESPN Radio broadcast will be piped in and live game statistics will be shown on the screen.

ESPN3 will offer online viewers Auburn- and Florida State-centric feeds. Auburn fans can listen to play-by-play announcer Rod Bramblett's call of the game over game action and isolated cameras focusing on Auburn coaches and players.

ESPN3 will also provide "BCS Campus Connection," which will feature live fan reactions from watch parties at Auburn and Florida State.

ESPN3 will also provide a "BCS SpiderCam" option to watch the entire game above the stadium from the above-the-field camera.

What do you think of these ideas? Other than the regular broadcast, which of these options interests you the most and why?

I'll flip it over to ESPN classic a time or two.

Oh, now you add, and why:

Just to try it out.

Now if we could only implement this into our CBS contract.

I like the idea of a tv broadcast with the Auburn radio broadcast synced up with it. Not sure I want to stream it though.

Can they get extra cameras for key field angles in the event of a review? But, yeah, otherwise these options sound great.

Well, this was more about the ideas for the various broadcasts as opposed to the teams involved and your interest in the particular game. So, you are welcome in the discussion as well.

I like the ESPN Classic and ESPN3 versions. The ESPN3 version reminds of when you catch a CSS replay of the game. I know all of the Alabama replays have Eli Gold calling the game.
