He won't play next year and won't come in until 2015, because he was out all this year fighting cancer. He's now in remission and using a year to recover. Some say he's better than his big bro. Here's some video of dude.

I hate when people say the younger sibling of one of the nations top players will be better than them. If I had to guess, this happens less than 10% of the time. The Berry twins will never match Eric. Case McCoy will never be better than Colt. Jaxon Shipley will never be better than Jprdan. Those are just some off the top of my head. It puts so much pressure on the younger sibling and it probably won't happen, so people need to stop saying these things.

We have Patrick Peterson's little brother, but I don't think anyone has said Avery >>> Patrick.

Could be wrong. He will be a redshirt freshman next year. Reports wee he Looked great in fall before tearing his ACL.

I thought his lil bro was a throw in to get DGB to commit. People that saw him play in high school says that isn't the case. I know that he's about 6'5 and 185 pounds and needs to add a lot of weight.

I hear ya Engineer. For me, it's just a special story that he's playing at all. I don't know that many have said that in actuality, right now, he is better than DGB. What I always heard was that he had always been the better athlete growing up and then got hit with the cancer. I don't think there's any way he's better than DGB but just a remarkable story that he's playing football and will get the opportunity in college to play.

Well he has had cancer. Glad it's in remission. Vadal Alexander had a health condition in HS where it caused him to lose 50+ lbs, and quit FB for a year. He recovered well, bulked back up, and now is the Starting RG at LSU. Good luck to the kid wherever he ends up. I'm sure some Hawg fans will be docking their ships for him shortly.

I doubt it. I don't think there's ever been a question that he's going to Mizzou like his brother.

Like Shamier Jeffery was gonna be better than Alshon ... yeah, we can relate but honestly, we knew it wasn't going to happen coming-in.

Hey, Mizzou fans gotta dream ...

It was said when he was a junior in high school that Avery was further along than his brother.

Really would have liked to see what Avery could have done had he not been injured, if he could have helped Beckham and Landry.

If both Landry and Beckham leave praying everyday one of them decides not to.
