Disclaimer: No flame and sorry if it's already been discussed

It seems like LSU is going to have a top 3 recruiting class based on the number of top recruits left that are likely to head there, but why are there so many still uncommitted?

Fournette
Tony Brown
Noil
Dupre
Willis

I understand that Adams still has a decision to make, but almost 100% of the predictions for the five I listed above are LSU. So why the delay?

Not to sound like a dick, but I'm surprised you're conpletely overlooking the appeal of free trips. I see no crime in traveling across the country to be "wined and dined" and see top football games in person. Plus, there was a lot of uncertainty about LSU's offense heading into the season, so I'm sure these recruits promised some big programs they'd be sure to receive a visit. With that said, I'm pretty nervous about Speedy and A&M, but we should fine with the other guys.

Given how highly ranked each of these kids are, I'd guess they want the exposure on national TV.

Plus free shite. When one of my nephews was being recruited by every SEC school, his room looked like a damn Champs Sporting Goods store.

I understand that, but most of the other top players have already announced. A very high percentage of the uncommitted top 30 players are "LSU locks."

They want the spotlight to announce at the All Star games, or on NSD in the case of Dupre.

I didn't know where I wanted to go to college, or if I even did, until after high school. I realize it's different but still. It's a difficult decision, made even more so by people tugging you one way or another from all directions. Some people just know and some it takes time to choose the right place.

Also the wine and dine thing

I don't know, but it's not good for my heart when they all decide to commit

These announcements give me anxiety like none other

When LSU pulls six or seven 5 stars in a three day period it builds momentum. It's just part of The Decline.

Because like all high profile players they agreed to announce at these stupid all star games.

Many tend to think a lot of these guys have been silent commits to LSU for awhile now otherwise Miles and staff would have more commitments on the board. The only one that received a lot more interest was Adams after Hootie decided on Bama.

Exposure wise, LSU will end up better off if they announce together.

I hate to say it because so may potential LSU signees are in this category but there are a lot of HS players that enjoy that individual spotlight on national TV. Thanks ESPN, ESPN2, ESPN3, ESPNNEWS, ESPNU, ESPNMars......
