I know I get frustrated at the play of a single player at different times throughout a game. However, to blame the loss on one player is ridiculous and unfair. Especially in the amateur ranks. I don't think a college kid or anyone for that matter, should be flogged, threatened, or ridiculed.
Sports are to be enjoyed, success is to be celebrated, and efforts by the players are to be appreciated. We as fans put too much emphasis on the outcome and records of sports team in our lives.

The font that "everything oxford and ole miss" is in makes me rage so hard.

It's the font they use on high school spirit shirts.

Yep. It's pretty much the font used for all shirts found in small gift shops in the south.

Good article
We all will troll another fan base every once in a while but honestly when its all said and done it should always go back to that gentleman's handshake. Everyone has their team and if you are true fans you stick by them win or lose. Its not life or death and is surely not worth threatening someone over. Just remember we are all human and can/will make mistakes. Remember when Tony Romo botched the snap that kept them out of the playoffs? Even in the pros things happen.

So true. My junior year in high school I missed a 42 yard field goal with 2 min left in the state championship game. We lost by three. I had people in my high school calling me "Ray Finkle". Idiots.
The week before I kicked a 38 yarder in the semis to win as time expired.
Only missed one kick that year. Yeah, it was a big one, but it also hit the post and was on college field goal posts instead of high school. People who lash out like that are morons.

for the most part i agree but sometimes it fits. I find it usually fits when one olinemen continues to get worked over because that just fricks the entire play up. Also works when Jordan Jefferson is your qb.
but yea bama fans are terrible people for blaming the kicker

Agree 100% on all points. Of course he took the less controversial road of making Bama all the focus, when there are PLENTY of examples from his own fanbase. But such is life in sports media.

GD Bradley Sowell. I blame him for every loss from 2009-2011
