Do you know why we are confident in our teams chances in the BCSNCG?

Actually Wtodd we'd be pulling for Mizzou if the SECCG had turned out differently... And Mizzou would probably beat FSU as well... No Homer...

If your QB performs well when needed I think Auburn wins. Would be hilarious for the SEC haters.

They did have a weak schedule BUT they completely dominated those teams. None of those games were close as far as I can recall.

I'm not all that confident, but I wasn't confident for very many of our games this year anyway.

there are numerous schools that have won a NC after weak schedules in the regular season. it's like their only tough game of the year and they don't have the emotional ups and downs in the regular season tdhat other teams have. several of the old Nebraska and Oklahoma teams come to mind.

FSU has yet to be challenged by halftime.

They will not know how to adjust to AU at halftime where as we have made many halftime adjustments and have proven to be able to win late.

Transitive property, I hate it but here it goes

FSU destroyed a 100% Clemson team..destroyed them. That Clemson team beat a 100% Georgia team. That 25% Georgia team should have beat auburn.

Auburn lost a game

It's weak but look how badly they beat those teams

Please tell me this is a joke. It's simple. Get out ahead to where Auburn can't run every damn play. That's how LSU won.

You are in the game, so you have a chance. Few were expecting that, and no matter the comparisons, on paper, AU shouldn't win. But you got a chance. Don't let sudden expectations ruin it for you.

That Florida State schedule is exactly why Auburn is going to win.

The SEC national haters can hate on, but the reality of the situation is this....over the past 5 or 6 years, the team that wins the national championship is the team that comes out on top of the SEC west.

Sometimes, the team that comes out on top of the SEC West isn't the best team in the SEC West. It takes a little luck, scheduling has something to do with it, and things have to go a particular team's way. But WHOEVER comes out of on top is battle tested, and big game ready. Thus, they win.

Whoever their opponent happens to be is likely a 2 or 3 loss team had they faced the same schedule.

LSU won because it was Auburn's first road trip with a QB who had only been on campus a few weeks. And rain.

Auburn can run the ball and score in seconds BTW.

I love how everyone has forgotten the recent history of the SEC and BCS titles simply because FSU has played a weak schedule.

In their one marquee game Clemson had a turnover on their first drive that led to a quick 7-0 hole, before they blinked they were down 14-0 and their crowd was out of the game before the 2nd quarter.

One thing is for sure FSU hasn't been tested all season, and we know how that has worked out recently for schools like OSU and Oklahoma against a battle tested SEC team. One team has repeatedly dealt with high pressure situations and close games and expects their teammates to respond, one team expects to win by 20+.

I think the saying is "Iron sharpens Iron".

FSU hasn't faced a running game with a pulse all season, we really have no idea what to expect out of them except "they have NFL talent at every position" (just like last year).

Good point.

I am also amused at pundits talking about FSU spending this time 'preparing for Auburn's running game,' all the while apparently assuming that Auburn will be doing nothing to prepare for FSU.

Auburn is practicing too pundits.
